Miranda Kenneally has such an easy flowing writing style that is effortless, witty, funny, entertaining, and completely addictive. Jordan commands the respect and friendship of the players, but Jordan has a lot to live up to. I loved how she came into her own and started to realise that just because she was captain doesn’t that she can’t be a girl, and just because someone else is a cheerleader doesn’t mean they’re vapid and shallow.
I loved the premise, but I wondered if the football portions would be too much. One day she’s shying away from Ty’s kisses to demanding his mirajda of a condom the next. I also loved how the boys were protective of Jordan not as a female so much as a female trying to succeed in a male role. A 4 star rating is the highest rating I’ve ever given a book.

In the long run, it did have a good message, and I loved how the main character was so self-empowering and independent. I’m not sure if the first installment in the Hundred Oaks series filled my expectations, though. The characters are very likable in this book, and I loved the portrayal of the relationships among Jordan and her male teammates.

P And those are my two cents! Crazy for Young A Problems arise though when a new kid arrives, Ty, who is a star Quarterback, and stirs up feelings and mirada crush in Jordan.
I loved how she could hang out with both girls and guys comfortably. Jordan is the star quarterback for the Hundred Oaks Red Raiders, her dream is to play for Alabama; the best football team in the country. You are commenting using your Facebook account. Slut shaming which I slightly mentioned in the stereotyping. He was the best friend turned lover, which is a bit annoying considering I just want a platonic female and male relationship.
I really liked Jordan, she was a strong character, she knew exactly what she wanted and how to go after it.
November 28th, 5 14 Nov 30, Can you imagine having a bunch of football players ready and waiting to kick anyone’s ass that messes with you? Yes, they appreciated her football skills and treated her like one of the guys.
Jordan gets a lot of attention from playing football and has a bond with the guys that the other girls don’t. To compete in a sport in which girls can’t possibly compete? Jul 18, ambsreads rated it it was ok Shelves: Looks like a fun teen book.
